So, what, we slap each other with gloves first? Are they….cozy gloves?
YOU are wrong!!!!!

"Slap each other with gloves"?!? Is that some sort of remark about my hands? Are you trying to say I have ugly hands? Or is that some sort of remark about how my comments are reflective of the chauvinistic style of dueling perpetuated by men who never learned to resolve their issues through peaceful debate? I’m seriously offended by your statement and demand that anyone reading this unfollow you at once! AT ONCE!!!

PB&J on a butter croissant with frosted animal cookies and chocolate milk. If I was a kid again, all my friends would want to trade with me.

Every single subculture that exists (that includes women) will inevitably have a group of mean girls in it. Every single one. Whether it’s at your office, your gym, your Mommy & Me class, your tumblr community, your art class, your regular coffee shop, your dog park, your church, your choir, your…

I can really, really relate to this. I try so desperately hard to distance myself from frenemies. I always think, “maybe they’ll grow up.” But, people are who they are, and sadly, most people usually change for the worse over time and not change for the better.

I’m so very tired of people wanting the world to rally behind their bruised feelings or inconvenienced day. Lately, every social media site I’m on has been nothing but complaints and rants. If someone got double charged at a store, they post it on social media and they expect everyone to boycott that store because of one mistake. Then there are people who are offended by something said on a TV show and they want the world to rally behind their hurt feelings.

Sorry, cupcake. The world is full of people with opinions that you aren’t going to like. Fight your own battles. If there really is some hatred or injustice directed at someone in particular, I’ll support my friends. But, if it’s just an honest mistake or something that one person is taking personal that wasn’t directed at them, then I have to bow out and just let them work it out on their own.

Just take a step back and look at the big picture. Try to think about how this is going to affect your life in the long run. Does this one situation you are getting all worked up over really have any bearing on your life and how you live it? Probably not. Simmer down and move on.

We all have our own battles to fight. And, just so we’re clear, there are bigger battles to fight than getting your panties in a wad over someone you’ve never met saying something dumb, someone making a mistake, or someone expressing their opinion.
